**What is Needle Felting?**

Needle Felting is a time-consuming process which involves repeatedly stabbing fibres (such as wool, silk, animal hair) with a barbed needle. This causes the fibres to tangle and 'felt' together, thus creating a hardened (or soft) form, depending on how much it is worked on.
